Decrease in Crime
This testimony comes from groups in Grand Junction that were not actively engaged in Colorado Prays. However, Colorado Prays members had been praying for a decrease in crime and violence statewide since 2016. Please continue to pray!!!
For the past several years, believers in Grand Junction (Mesa County) have stepped up their prayer for various parts of the County. This includes a group meeting for 12 hours of prayer and worship every month, a men's group that prayer walks neighborhoods and an increase in praying churches. A recent report from the Mesa County Sheriff's Office indicates that a comparison of data from 1st Quarter 2017 to 1st Quarter 2018 shows:
Burglary, car theft, criminal mischief & property crimes are down 41%
Child Abuse and Child Abandonment crimes are down 33%
Sex Crimes are down 50%
