Let everything that has breath and every breath of life praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)”
Lord, You are our abundant provider-our go to and our end all. Holy Spirit, thank You for hovering about the earth. Your eyes give light and it is good. We apologize when we screw up. Thank You for Your patience with us.
Lord, we ask for eyes and ears to be open to You, Holy Spirit. We ask that they hear Your Truth and Light preached. We know it starts inside of us. Open hearts, Lord! There was a revival in Morgan County 100 years ago. Revive us again. Let the sparks flareup! A flame for You, Lord. Change each person bringing a pond to a shimmer. Bring the broken pieces together in a mosaic. Take our brokenness and put Your glory in us. Spread and mix our broken pieces to make a beautiful creation that only You could do.
We thank You for Morgan County’s willingness to accept refugee communities. Northeastern Colorado is the center of the universe with many different refugee groups. An Asian community, Puerto Ricans, Somalians, Venezuelans, Russian Germans, Ukrainians, and others. For the Muslims, we pray for dreams and visions. Lord, they know Jesus only from their Koran. Speak to them in the night seasons as to the Truth of Jesus Christ. As the Ukrainians seek the news of their loved ones because of the terrible war in Ukraine, we ask for a change, a repentance for Vladimir Putin. Like Saul on his donkey was shaken, let Putin repent with a change of heart. Reading of Obadiah 18.
Fort Morgan is thankful for HGTV choosing the town to be changed on the outside. Lord, as the outside is tidied up, we ask You fix the inside of lives to match. Decay is on the inside. Lord, let the Body of Christ take over. Help the community to draw together. Let Joy come forth because Jesus is here! (Nehemiah 8:10b) We ask for HGTV’s RTR productions out of Denver to be blessed by their work in Ft. Morgan. Many are young people. We ask for a revival in the Gen X and the Millennials through the falling of Your Spirit. Jesus, they are part of Your mosaic.
Lord, there is bad chemistry and cooking of drugs going on in Ft. Morgan. We ask You put a monkey wrench in those works. Frustrate their works, Lord. Throw what they have produced in a dumpster we ask in Jesus’ Name!
Prayers for law enforcement in Morgan County. Lord, give them Your discernment to see what they need to see. We ask for Your strategies for them as they do their work. Lord, we know there are believers in law enforcement in Morgan County. Let Your gospel be shared and bring more of them into Your kingdom. Bring them into a childlike faith looking to You.
We lift up prayers to all emergency services in Morgan County. DJ is near the hospital and prays as she hears the sirens. Lord, thank You for Your servants who pray! Bring Your peace into emergency situations as they happen. Thank You, Lord.
We ask You, Lord, for a plentiful harvest. Thank You for the rain that has blessed a good crop. Thank You the workers have been called to help with the harvest. We ask of You that the harvest be plentiful.
Lord, bring forth pastors to preach Your gospel of Jesus Christ fearlessly and boldly. Where is the God of Elijah? We call for holy boldness calling in the wilderness for Morgan County. II Timothy 1:6,7,8 NIV. “For this reason, I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God…” Father, let us see with Your eyes for empty hearts to be filled with Your love.
We thank You, Lord, for those who have come out of witchcraft to the power of the gospel. Thank You for those in Your Body who are willing to take their hand and help them in their journey.
We pray for the children in Morgan County. Some are confused and used as pawns. Lord, we cry for You to touch their little hearts through others, through your Bible stories, and in their dreams. God bless You. May their hearts in an open box be cleaned and washed white as snow by Your blood. All to You, Lord Jesus! Bless those of Yours helping these little ones. Lord, show them the truth and let them hear as You say, I love you.
Blast through the walls of resistance to Your gospel and the message of Your only begotten son, Father. Come, Holy Spirit, be present in the streets and roads in Morgan County. We want to feel Your Spirit fall! Excitement like a Bronco game but MORE. Lord, let them open the box their hearts are in -- to You. May their hearts be cleaned and washed white as snow by Your blood. All to You, Lord Jesus!
