Focus:
The righteous remnant will rise up in every sphere of Jefferson County.
Worship
You are the righteous Judge.
You are the only One Who is Holy.
You keep us.
It is your kindness that leads us to repentance.
1 Jn 1:9: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Repentance
We repent from nationalism and pride. Apart from You we can do nothing. Forgive us, LORD for thinking we can fix anything.
We repent of wandering.
We repent of laying up treasures on earth.
We repent of self-centeredness and laziness.
We repent:
Amos 6:4-7: “Who lie on beds of ivory, Stretch out on your couches, Eat lambs from the flock And calves from the midst of the stall; Who sing idly to the sound of stringed instruments, And invent for yourselves musical instruments like David; Who drink wine from bowls, And anoint yourselves with the best ointments, But are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph. Therefore they shall now go captive as the first of the captives, And those who recline at banquets shall be removed.”
We repent for not being grieved over the condition of those around us.
We repent for staying in our comfort zones.
We repent:
Pr 6:16-18: “These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.”
We repent of operating in criticism and judgment and calling it discernment.
We repent of being AWOL.
Heb 10:38-39: “Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.”
We repent for living by what we see.
We repent for shrinking back.
We repent of the fear of man.
Rev 12:11: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”
We repent of prayerlessness.
Intercession
We ask for the conviction of the Holy Spirit to come to God’s people.
We call for the return to our first love.
Acts 2:38-39: “Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.””
We ask for the spirit of intercession to increase in Jeffco.
We call for fervent, vigilant intercession to rise up.
We break off religious duty in the body of Christ.
We ask for the righteous remnant to be active listeners. Slow to speak and quick to listen.
Is 33:14-16: “The sinners in Zion are afraid; Fearfulness has seized the hypocrites: “Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?” He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, He who despises the gain of oppressions, Who gestures with his hands, refusing bribes, Who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, And shuts his eyes from seeing evil: He will dwell on high; His place of defense will be the fortress of rocks; Bread will be given him, His water will be sure.”
Judges 6:12: “And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!””
Over the righteous remnant in Jeffco…“Today we decree that you rise up as a mighty warrior of the Spirit like Gideon. We speak a spirit of valor upon you right now! We declare you will not back down from the operations of the enemy that would work to intimidate, manipulate or control you. We say that you are well equipped to wage war with the weapons of might that will pull down strongholds. We prophesy that you are rooted and grounded in love and that you shall never stumble or become offended by any fiery darts of the wicked. We declare that your faith will not fail. May you be surrounded with assurance and confidence that God is with you and He shall not allow you to fall or be defeated! We say it’s so in Jesus’ Name!” (taken from The Daily Decree p.45-46 by Brenda Kunneman)
Heb 10:35-39: “Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: “For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.”
Rom 4:3: “For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.””
We declare the body of Christ believes the Word of God.
We pray for the remnant to unite under the Word of God.
We declare that the body of Christ are as the believers in Heb 11:33-35: “who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection.”
We thank You for the joy of the LORD that strengthens the righteous remnant!
Joel 3:9-11: “Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, Let all the men of war draw near, Let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’ ” Assemble and come, all you nations, And gather together all around. Cause Your mighty ones to go down there, O Lord.”
We thank You, LORD, that You make what we have into weapons of strength.
Jer 13:11: “For as the sash clings to the waist of a man, so I have caused the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah to cling to Me,’ says the Lord, ‘that they may become My people, for renown, for praise, and for glory; but they would not hear.’”
We decree the body of Christ will listen and obey.
We declare the body of Christ clings to You, LORD.
We declare that the body of Christ is cleansed and made noble vessels.
We declare forth the plans and purposes of God for those in Jeffco.
Jer 29:11-14: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.”
We ask for Spirit of revelation of who we are in You and You in us.
We declare we are the vessels of the Holy Spirit.
We declare revelation of being children of the Most High God.
We declare the body of Christ is coming closer to the heart of God, staying at Your feet and keeping their eyes on You.
We declare our reliance on the Holy Spirit. Apart from You we can do nothing.
We ask for help to be obedient and faithful.
We call forth the Gideons to engage fully in every mountain in Jeffco: Jeffco Schools, Jeffco Government, Businesses, Media, Arts/Entertainment, Law Enforcement, First Responders, Non-Profits serving the needy, the Church.
Ps 90:17: “And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands.”
We decree Is 10:22-23: “For though your people, O Israel, be as the sand of the sea, A remnant of them will return; The destruction decreed shall overflow with righteousness. For the Lord God of hosts will make a determined end in the midst of all the land.”
