Praises for a teen mom who has moved into a new apartment. She is making significant steps toward self-sufficiency!
Praises that teen moms in our program are referring other teen moms to Hope House.
Praises that Hope House staff has worked hard to pick up slack under difficult circumstances.
Praises that a teen mom who has struggled to pass a GED test has done so and is moving on to the next test with confidence.
Praises that one teen mom who was disengaged has come back to Hope House and is engaging in critical programs such as counseling for her situation.
Prayer Requests:
Continue to pray for the right person to fill our Program Coordinator position. Hope House is in final stages of possible hiring!
Pray that Hope House can secure funding through grants. We have seen an unusual amount of grant denials than we are used to.
Please pray that as we plan for the Gala on September 28th, that businesses would engage through sponsorship and table hosts, and that God would rise up individuals to host tables and attend.
Continue to pray that the Spirit would lead people who are able to donate used cars to Hope House. Transportation continues to be one of the biggest barriers for teen moms to more toward self-sufficiency.
Pray for Executive Director, Colleen Emery, who tore her ACL and will have reconstruction surgery on August 13th.Pray for the surgeonโs hands and a quick recovery.
