PRAYER GUIDE: Reaching Denver on Our Knees:
Jesus, we humbly intercede with You this day, to the Heavenly Father, one with You as You are One with Him. We pray and ask of You, and You will give Us The nations for our inheritance, and the ends of the earth for our possession. We pray Lord, of the harvest to send out laborers into Your harvest. We stand in Awe of You! Behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands.
Lord, to be in Your presence. Lord, grant us wisdom and Your ways to Pray Kingdom and new strategies in Your will to reach the unreached communities and people. We unite in prayer for repentance of salvation and Your Kingdom come. We intercede for opened closed doors and closed hearts through prayer. Lord, place a zeal in our heart to yearn for You, Jesus to be lifted up. Jesus You, came, and will deliver. To open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in You.’
Lord, as we (BELIEVERS/INTERCESSORS) reach Denver on Our Knees:
We come Humbly and with Gratitude as someone shared the Gospel with Us:
Lord, we come before Your throne of Grace, lifting those whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. For it is You God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of You God in the face of Jesus Christ. Those who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, Bound in affliction and irons—You brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their chains in pieces. To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the prison, Those who sit in darkness from the prison house.
Lord, we thank You that “The Spirit of You Lord God is upon us,Because the Lord has anointed us to preach good tidings to the poor;You have sent us to heal the brokenhearted,to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;to proclaim the acceptable year of You Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace.” Jesus, “You are the light of the world. He who follows You shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” Lord, may the deaf ears hear, we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, Your own special people, that we may proclaim the praises of You who called us out of darkness into Your marvelous light.
FOR UNBELIEVERS:
Jesus we come humbly interceding with You, to lift those whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.That they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will. Go before us and make the crooked places straight; break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. No one can come to You unless the Father who sent You draws him; and You will raise him up at the last day. And You, if You're lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Yourself. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, You Jesus that whoever believes in You should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send You, His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through You might be saved.
As Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Send Your Spirit, For they themselves declare concerning us what manner of entry we had to You, and how we turned to You from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for You from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, Let the Blood of You and the words of our testimony overcome the world and the evil one. Jesus, You who delivers us from the wrath to come.And You have made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek You Lord, in the hope that they might grope for You and find You, though You are not far from each one of us; But from there they will seek You Lord our God, and they will find You if they seek You with all their heart and with all their soul. We know You stand at the door of their heart knocking, we plea they answer. Lord, may they hear Repent for Your kingdom is at hand.
We pray and claim as Peter, “Repent, and let every one of them be baptized in the name of You Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and they shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to them and to their children, and to all who are afar off, as many as You Lord our God will call.” Then those who gladly receive Your word be baptized; You be glorified praising You God and having favor with all the people. Lord our prayers You add to the church daily those who are being saved. That the many of those who hear the word believe. And the believers are increasingly added to You Lord, multitudes of both men and women,
Lord, as they believe and enter in, we pray to restore the years the locusts have eaten. Restore to them the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, Your great army which You sent among us. King Jesus give back what they lost with more of Yourself, Your Blessings, and Your Presence. Give beauty for ashes, joy instead of mourning, and praise instead of despair Console those who mourn in Denver, give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of You Lord, that You may be glorified.”Lord, we thank You for Your anger is but for a moment, Your favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning. You will swallow up death forever, and You Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of Your people will take away from all the earth;
For You Lord have spoken. Sing, O heavens! Be joyful, O earth! And break out in singing, O mountains! For the You, Lord has comforted His people, And will have mercy on His afflicted. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Thank You Jesus!
PRAY FOR THE LAND of DENVER:
Heavenly Father, we pray today for the freeing Truth of Jesus over Denver County, as a region we shall know the truth, and the truth shall make us free. Who the Son makes free, we shall be free indeed. It is our prayers we don’t be destined to live in lies. Praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which many are also in chains. These things say He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: “You know our works. Oh, Lord, that You may say, See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.
We exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of You God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Our prayers are that “The fear of You Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understood to be bestowed on us. The lawmakers in position establish the land by justice, And not by he who receives bribes and overthrows it. That Denver Community Leadership will have a praying heart and praising You God and having favor with all the people. And You Lord add to the church daily those who were being saved. And That Your word Lord becomes spread throughout all the region.
Lord, that the word of You may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with us. May we rise to the High Calling of You Jesus Christ. That shall they call on You in whom they have not believed? Lord, may we stand uprightly they believe in You of whom they have not heard? We will become repentantive with a submitting heart to You God, they shall hear. May we have a Pure heart, how can we preach unless we are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!”
PRAY FOR THE CHURCH:
Heavenly Father we come before You in the Name Jesus, praying for the Body of Believers that we will become one with Christ as He is one with You. We pray today, we begin to know and walk in who we are in Christ Jesus. That We Do not be conformed to this world any longer, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Lord, we ask for Your Grace to begin walking in Unity as one Body of believers. How can two walk together unless they agree. Re-birth in us our identity as believers to conform to You. Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of You God! Thank You Lord, the world does not know us, because it did not know You. As You call us Beloved, and now we are children of You God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when You’re revealed, we shall be like You, for we shall see You as You are. Lord, may we follow Your ways, May we Comfort, yes, comfort Your people!”As one whom his mother comforts, So You will comfort us; And we shall be comforted.
Father, As we have received You Christ Jesus our Lord, so we shall walk in You, rooted and built up in You and established in the faith, as we have been taught, abounding it with thanksgiving. And the things that we have heard from You among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. Lord, may We walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let our speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that we may know how we ought to answer each one. Lord we pray that we not be afraid of sudden terror, Nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes; For You Lord will be our confidence, And will keep our foot from being caught. Lord, thank You that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. We did not choose You, but You chose us and appointed us that we should go and bear fruit, and that Your fruit should remain, that whatever we ask the Father in Your name He may give us.
Our Father, who made the world and everything in it, since You are Lord of heaven and earth, do not dwell in temples made with hands. Nor are You worshiped with men’s hands, as though You needed anything, since You give to all life, breath, and all things. You have made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined our preappointed times and the boundaries of our dwellings, so that we should seek You Lord, in the hope that we might grope for You and find You, though You are not far from each one of us; for in You we live and move and have our being, as also some of Your own poets have said, ‘For we are also Your offspring.’ Lord, since we are the offspring of You God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising. Lord, Truly these times of ignorance You God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because You have appointed a day on which You will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom You have ordained. You have given assurance of this to all by raising Jesus from the dead.”
Lord, we thank You, for Your gospel did not come to us in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as You know what kind of men we were among You for our sake. And we became followers of You and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit, so that we become examples to all who believe. For from us the word of the Lord has sounded forth, our faith toward You God has gone out, so that we do not need to say anything. We believe.
“All authority has been given to Jesus in heaven and on earth. We Go therefore with Jesus as One in His Name and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that You have commanded us; and lo, You are with us always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Lord we pray those called by Your name will press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of You God in Christ Jesus. Preach the gospel to the city and make many disciples, strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.” So when we have appointed elders in every church, and pray with fasting, we commend them to You Lord in whom we have believed. In Jesus Name.
