Present for the meeting: Cindi Krebs, Linda Martin, Karen Morgan, Donna Reyman and Nadina Scarlett

Praise and Worship. Holy Spirit, we welcome you today. Call us to humility, Lord. Forgive us, Lord. Cleanse us, Lord. Revelation 19: 5&6 NKJV “Then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great! And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!

We put on the full armor of God today!

Prayers for Arvada and the Arvada City Council

Ø  Wisdom in managing the proposed Navigation Center and the outcome.

Ø  Prayers for the Council in selecting the interim City Council member replacing Lisa Feret.

Ø  Thanks, and prayers for Jim Morgan as he is present at many of the meetings.

Ø  Lord, bring another location for The Rising to bless them as they serve the homeless.

Ø  Studies show up to 96% of homeless people are addicted. We bound up the spirit of addiction in Arvada in the mighty Name of Jesus!

Prayers for Government Leaders

Ø  Justice to be done in the case of Tina Peters.

Ø  Jena Griswold to be held accountable for the actions of her position as Secy. of State-Colorado

Ø  Prayer for Governor Polis to open his eyes or be removed from office.

Ø  Lord, we pray for the success of President-elect Trump. Also, for his border czar, Tom Holman.

Ø  Government officials will fear God-they will feel His awesome power and be reverent to God.

Ø  Holy Spirit, touch our government leaders so they will hunger and thirst for Your righteousness.

Prayers for First Responders

Ø  We ask, Lord, that You now release Your angels to be with every Colorado First Responder to guide and empower them as they serve You by serving others. Protect each one, Lord.

Ø  Let every First Responder in Arvada and our state experience the true meaning of Christmas, the gift of your son, Jesus.

 

Prayers for the Children

Ø  Protect the unborn, Lord. Psalm 139:13 Amp. “For You formed my innermost parts; You knit me (together) in my mother’s womb.”

Ø  Let there be no rock unturned as we ask for justice for the children, Lord!

Ø  We prayed for Jeffco Kids First. Thank You, Father, for their mission.

Ø  We prayed for all the schools: charter, public, and private.

Ø  Lord, remove the teachers’ union. May the focus in the schools be on the children.

Ø  Thank You, Lord, for the good things happening at Seacrest Elementary. Protect them, Lord.

Ø  Prayers for Altitude Church and their mission at Arvada High School.

Ø  Lord, we ask the New Age words and deeds, and social media influences be ignored.

Ø  Elijah is a dear, new baby, and extremely sick in the hospital. Oh Lord, touch and heal this little precious baby. We prayed to break any generational ties binding him in the mighty Name of Jesus! Lord, bring Your comfort and love to Elijah’s family.

 

Prayers for the Churches

Ø  This season is for the families, Lord. Bring them into the churches to hear Your message of hope.

Ø  Father, bring the people back to church. Show and remind them of their roots.

Ø  We ask for a revival for all but especially for the youth. Lord, let them come to Jesus and their destiny!

Ø  May God’s truth come into our society through Your church. Father, we ask satan’s lies will fall to the ground. Heal the divisions in our society through Your Gospel and Your work on the Cross!

Ø  Lord, we pray for Your persecuted church wherever it is in the world. Protect them and give them an exit. Send Your angels to protect and cover them in Jesus’ Name!

 

Lord may our love not grow cold. The joy of the Lord is our strength. May we see and understand Your vision for 2025 and beyond. We ask for open doors to share Your Gospel and Your love. Show us, Lord.

 

Matthew 5: 14, 15, & 16 NIV

14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

 

We praise You, Almighty God! Prayers of God’s peace, love, and protection to touch all of us and our families. We ask You seal our prayers of today. Amen.
