10-23-24 Colorado Prays Arvada Civic Prayer Team meeting.
Present today: Linda Martin, Karen Morgan, Nadina Scarlett, Donna Reyman
We began the meeting with praise and worship to our Lord. We invited the Holy Spirit to join us in the meeting and He surely did join us! We read Psalm 92:10b-13. Amp.
We put on the full armor of God-so we can stand firm, fully prepared, immovable, and victorious. Eph. 6 was quoted in prayer. We acknowledge II Chronicles 7:14 as our prayer today.
Prayed for the churches in Arvada.
Ø Boldness for pastors to speak truth-no compromising.
Ø Young people would come into the churches seeking God’s truth.
Ø Bound up the spirit of fear in Jesus’ Name
Ø Preaching and teaching of the Word of God to stand
Ø Thank You, Lord, for churches offering a different way for kids to enjoy the Halloween/fall season by celebrating Jesus. We bind up the evil plans of the enemy against the innocent in the Mighty Name of Jesus!
Ø We ask the Lord to bring His unity among the churches encouraging networking/sharing among the churches.
Prayed for families and children.
Ø Lord, move the hearts of the men close to Your heart!
Ø We pray for supernatural wisdom for Arvada and Colorado parents and grandparents who are navigating family issues and finances at this time.
Ø Lord, protect the minds of our children from evil influences when they are in school.
Ø We pray for safety for children in Arvada and Colorado schools and that parents would have boldness to make the safest and most peaceful choices in schools for their children.
Election
Ø Lord, we ask righteous leaders will be elected to bring justice and Your truth into our city, county, and nation.
Ø We bind up illegal activities to destroy honest elections in the Mighty Name of Jesus!
Ø We pray for leaders, workers and people who see dishonesty or illegal activity to speak up and be bold. Lord, bring the whistleblowers and keep them safe.
Israel
Ø Lord, Israel is the apple of Your eye. We pray they will have discernment and Your wisdom as they fight against the seven fronts of this current war they are fighting.
Ø We ask for all of Israel to come to the revelation of Jesus Christ as their Messiah.
Government
Ø Lord, we ask You to open the eyes of the people in Arvada, Colorado, and our nation to seek the truth of Your Word and Your ways to seek a righteous pathway for all of us.
Ø Bring forth, Lord, more strong and courageous men to participate in our governance. Thank You, Lord, for giving strong women the desire to step forth with prayer and action. We ask the men would join them to work together for our children, grandchildren, and all of society.
Ø We pray You will open the eyes of the Arvada City Council to Your truth. Show them, Father, Your pathway for them as they govern Arvada.
Ø Specific prayer for Governor Polis to see the true source of His life. Turn his eyes to You, Jesus.
Ø Protect former President Trump from harm as he has survived two assassination attempts.
Ø We declare that those who are corrupt or willfully wicked in our state government are now being removed and replaced with those whom the Lord chooses.
First responders
Ø Thank you for all the Colorado men and women who have responded to the call to be First Responders as dispatchers, police officers, firefighters and EMTs as well as all those who work in hospital emergency rooms. Bless each one, Lord God, and their family members, with your comforting love, joy, and peace.
Ø Lord, we ask for supernatural protection for all first responders.
Ø As they start each shift, with prayer for guidance and protection, remind each believing First Responder to put on the full Armor of God even as they dress in their uniforms so that they may be protected from any assaults of the enemy.
Hope
Ø Lord, we ask You to bless the people in Arvada and Colorado and give them Your hope.
Isaiah 40:31 “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.”

We put on the whole armor of God today.
Prayer of praise and repentance.
Isaiah 10:27 NKJV “It shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.”
Daniel 9: 4&5 Amp. “I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed and said, “O Lord, the great and awesome God who keeps His covenant and extends lovingkindness toward those who love Him and keep His commandments, we have sinned and committed wrong, and have behaved wickedly and have rebelled, turning away from Your commandments and ordinances.” 9:19 “ O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and take action! Do not delay. For Your own sake, O my God, because Your city and Your people are called by Your name.”
Election related prayers:
Ø We are thankful for the victory of more conservatives being elected. Lord, bring victories to conservatives in the recounts.
Ø We are thankful Donald J. Trump will be our 47th president. We ask, Lord, You will watch over his appointments. We ask, Lord, keep Donald Trump safe. We pray for his family and staff also.
Ø Jena Griswold, Colorado’s Secretary of State, has lost the confidence of the people of Colorado by her actions to try and keep Donald Trump off the ballot and her lack of oversight of the integrity of the Colorado election system. She should step down or be removed from the office.
Ø Lord, please help Tina Peters, Mesa county’s former Clerk and Recorder, receive the justice due her.
The Children
Ø May the love of God sweep the nation on those who watch over the children!
Ø Lord, bring forth a new outpouring of respect and love for the children in the foster system.
Ø We pray, Lord, proper vetting will transpire in the foster system.
Ø Lord, we ask for conviction of the hearts of people caring for the children if there is something not right. Bring forth whistleblowers to report the truth. Give them no rest until they have told the truth. Bring them to repentance, Lord, out of the darkness into Your marvelous light.
Ø We declare the transgender activities will cease and desist in the Mighty Name of Jesus!
Ø Shine Your spotlight on sex trafficking of children! Send people and Your mighty angels to protect them and show them Jesus!
Ø Lord, touch the Muslim community and reveal what is happening to the children.
Ø Lord bless all of the organizations reaching on Your behalf to the children, Just to name a few-Wiz Kids, Dare to Share, Good News Colorado, all the churches’ children’s programs.
Abortion
Ø Our hearts break for all the aborted babies in our nation and throughout the world. Lord, we know Your heart breaks too.
Ø We thank You, Lord, for Shawn and 40 days of life. We pray for others, too, Lord.
Ø Open the eyes and ears of the people for “Life”. Science has proven life begins at inception Confront the world with the truth, Lord.
Ø We repent for the actions of our city, county and state, Lord. Forgive us, Lord!
Ø We pray for justice and restoration.
Ø Bring Jesus to the young women who have been deceived so they may be free.
Arvada and Colorado
Ø Prayers for the Arvada City Council. They are currently receiving names to replace Lisa Feret who was elected to the Colorado House of Representatives for HD24. Lord, we ask for a person who knows you (with conservative values) to replace Lisa until the end of her term in 2025.
Ø We prayed for each council member by name. Lord, show them Your pathway.
Ø Lord, bring Your wisdom and discernment to the first responders. Untie the hands of the police.
Psalm 144:1-1 & 2 NKJV “Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle----My lovingkindness and my fortress, My high tower and my deliverer, My shield and the One in whom I take refuge.” Amen
