First and foremost,

Thank you to the intercessors for making the switch to Zoom.

CTC Scriptures released over the county this morning:

  • Proverbs 1:7

  • Numbers 21:4-8 (Covid & TCHD)

  • James 1:5

  • James 5:14

  • Leviticus 19:9-10

But the overarching theme during prayer was the Covid-19 variants and vaccines.

2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us that our God has not given us a Spirit of fear; but of love, power and a sound mind. (paraphrased) Our faith is grounded in the all wise knowledge of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost; together they are rational, logical and compassionate; “a womb type love.” Romans 8:26 says that the Holy Spirit makes intercession for us ”through wordless groans.” We do not know how to pray as we ought, but by the power of the Holy Spirit we still intercede trusting that our God knows everyone’s heart. (Acts 1:24)

The pandemic did not catch God by surprise, so who else better to ask; to seek; to take Godly counsel with? It is by God’s grace that we can call up on the name of Jesus asking for wisdom when we don’t know what to do. Psalm 32:8 promises God’s guidance and counsel; not only that, he will watch over us to perfect and preserve his word as it pertains to the issues of vaccine; no vaccine. Medical Science, Doctors and Research are wise tools given out of common grace to mankind. They too are logical and rational. It is imperative for us as believers of Christ Jesus to be as professionally informed as we are about our God, even more so. We know that Jesus will have the last word, but in the meantime while we are living in the middle through the “dash-period,” let us seek his face, in accord, protecting and keeping the bond of unity while he, himself, God, navigates us (his creation) through these challenging times. Amen 🙏🏾.
